Secured Sciences Group was originally formed as QuaTeams, LLC in 1998 as a general consulting services firm. During that time it gained customers such as National Geographic, Titan Corporation, Children's Wear Digest and the International Institute of Finance.

In March 2004, the company officially changed its name to Secured Sciences Group. Its mission is to provide solutions to organizational challenges in information technology.

Projects include Vignette Content Management integration for National Geographic and software security testing for Titan.
